It is our aim and hope that you find this site useful; it’s intended to be an invaluable resource for Endo sufferers and their partners alike. We’ve been running this site for nearly ten years, over that time the ways in which it has been provided has changed, but there are some things that are constant - it takes time and effort to provide free services on the internet, and a certain amount of money. One way around that is to use advertising based services, or sponsorship, but that’s not something we believe in doing.

Access to this website has always been free to all our visitors - free to use, free of advertising and free of sponsorship and we don't want to change that at all. We’re fortunate in that Paul works in IT and this means he has lots of knowledge readily available. That doesn’t mean, though, that creating and running a site like this doesn’t cost anything.

Donations

If you would like to help with the running costs of the website (Electricity, Web/Email Servers, Internet Fees etc), you can make either a single donation or a monthly recurring donation by using the options below. We estimate the current running costs to be around £2 a day.

If we should receive more than 100% of the Monthly Target, we will carry over the extra donations to the next month, but place the amount in a banked reserve. Should we not achieve the monthly target by the end of any month, we will top up that month from the banked reserve. We will try our best to update the Donate-O-Meter on a regular (hopefully daily) basis as it is not updated automatically when we receive a donation.

PayPal is the means that we collect money, so donations can only come through their secure site, this does not mean that you need a PayPal account to donate, but it makes life a little more straight forward. PayPal do not charge fees for sending donations so it will not cost you anything more than your donation, however they do charge a small fee for receiving money and this is deducted from your donation before it arrives with us, it is not usually very much it is around £0.20 + 3.4% of every donation. We will deduct these fees from the banked reserve if there is one at any given time.

Last month you helped us by raising 100% of target that we have put towards the running costs. Thank you all for your kind support, we really do appreciate it.
