Hi, my name is Jo and I have two kids. I am 33 years old and was diagnosed with endo eight years ago, I was on Prostap and Zoladex injections and had the Mirena coil fitted and it seemed to clear it up, so have had a nice few years pain free so to speak.

Anyway in April this year I started getting pains in my left and right pelvic area. I was admitted to hospital for suspected appendicitis. Anyway it wasn't and I was sent home. These pains have not gone away and are driving me round the bend. I had my Mirena coil took out about a month ago in case it was that but it's just the same, I went to Gynae and he said he is going to do a Endometrial ablation but I was under the impression that these are used for heavy periods which I don't have?

I am shattered all the time, sex is so painful and I sometimes bleed; I really don't know what to do, I'm going insane; is this the endo back?

Please help, thanks.

Update July 2010

Well I'm at the hospital on Wednesday and I'm going to ask if he will do another Laparoscopy because it's been about four years since my last one. I have no fancy for this Ablation which also means I couldn't have any more children!

Joanne.
