Postby sandw » Mon Feb 09, 2009 1:50 pm

Hi
I am new on here so please bare with me.
I had a laparoscopy one week ago and had laser to try and get rid of some of the endo.
I have a daughter age 7 and would desperatley love another child.
Has anyone had this surgery and found it improved there fertility or even if it didn't,and was the pain any more berable!!!
Have been told the next step would be a Hysterectomy but at 29 I don't want to think about that.
Would love to hear from you
Sandra

Cor blimey- to be quoted the hysterectomy so soon when you want to have another child is a bit drastic isn't it?
Does your gynae know that you want to try for another child?
I'm wondering if the gynae said it for a reason.
I'm wondering if it could have anything to do with your fertility chances being affected by the endo.
I have heard about success stories of pregnancy after laps but its not always a common factor.
You would be better off reposting this question on the fertility section rather than on the disability/work issues section as nobody comes onto this one about fertility really.
I'm sure that some of the ladies on the fertility thread will be able to advise you somehow. :D
