Have you taken legal advice to make sure theres nothing you can do?
I was sacked within my probationary period but because I was sacked less then a week after my Dr wrote explaining my condition and asking that I have breaks (I didn't get any) it is still possible to argue unfair dismissal.
If you're up to it I'd suggest popping to the citizens advice, its free & they take you through every step.
I wont find out till Feb though, fingers crossed.

I had to take a year off many years ago whilst awaiting my lap to have confimed what i already knew that i had endo because it took them so long to arrange a lap though by the time they did sort it out my bowel and bladder stopped working and i could barely walk so it 12 months to get better

I am a Litigation Executive and after working for some real awful solicitors who were unsympathetic my last bosses were great and my new bosses so far have been good too, I work long hours as I am also a Team Leader so I am out the door for 7 and get back around 7 but then also bring home work with me I need 2-3 days off a month at the moment although this last month was really bad and I needed a week off which i took as holidays as I couldn't afford not to be paid with my wedding come up in may we need the money.

Part of me wishes I didn't have to work as since taking on a Team Leader role my job has become more stresseful and hence my condition is worsening but as I have always worked since i was 16 I love being independent and earning my own money and paying my own way so I am torn between my job making me feel worse and loving my independence that a job brings :?
